Selkie

 

A luxurious blend of kid mohair and mulberry silk. Named after the Seal Maidens of Celtic mythology, it is both soft and shimmery like seal fur. Selkie is spun with a silk core and a heavier mohair that is fantastic for outerwear sweaters, mittens, blankets; the options are endless.

Hand-dyed yarns can vary significantly between dye lots, and even within one dye lot.  Please order more than enough for your project in order to avoid disappointment. We cannot guarantee that hand-dyed skeins in the same colourway will match, nor can we guarantee that hand-dyed yarn will be exactly as pictured. If a certain shade or depth of colour is important to you, call us to discuss your order.

• 15-20 sts = 4" on 4-6 mm / US 6-10
• 70% Kid Mohair, 30% Mulberry Silk
• Hand wash in cool water. Lay flat to dry.
