Featherlight Shawl Kit in Pure Silk

A silk scarf is a timeless accessory for good reason! We couldn't resist using Knitting for Olive Pure Silk to create a slinky, summery version of our Featherlight Shawl.  As its name says, this fingering-weight yarn is made from pure bourette silk, which transforms upon blocking to create a deliciously drapey fabric with subtle sheen.  You will love the feeling of this fabric draped over your shoulders or tied at your neck, adding the finishing touch to your outfit.

Kit includes:  Featherlight Shawl pattern and 2 balls of Knitting for Olive Pure Silk
Skills Required: Knit, make 1 increase, cast on, bind off

Needles and Notions: Purchased Separately.

• 3.75-4.00mm (US 5-6) 60-100 cm (24-40 in) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
• 5.0-6.0 mm (US 8-10) 60-100 cm (24-40 in) circular needle (optional- for bind off)
• Tapestry/Darning Needle 
• Wool Wash
• T-Pins or Knit Blockers
• Blocking Wires (recommended)
